Geoff Orrell, CIRP, Trustee in Bankruptcy

Geoff Orrell is a Senior Vice-President of E. Sands & Associates, a Trustee in Bankruptcy and a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals. Geoff has over 30 years of experience practicing exclusively in the consumer and corporate insolvency and restructuring areas including 20 years with two National Professional Services and Chartered Accountancy Firms.

Geoff has been involved in a wide range of insolvency and restructuring engagements including, instrument appointed receiver, advisor to lenders, corporate debtors and other stakeholders with respect to financial and viability assessments, security reviews and financial investigations.

Located in our Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Port Coquitlam offices, Geoff focuses on both consumer and corporate insolvency and restructuring proceedings.

Sheila Smelt, CGA, CIRP, Trustee in Bankruptcy

Sheila Smelt is a Trustee in Bankruptcy, a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and a Certified General Accountant. Sheila has over 14 years of experience practicing exclusively in the consumer insolvency and restructuring areas including four years with a National Professional Services and Chartered Accountancy Firm. Located in our Chilliwack office, Sheila’s primary focus is the administration of consumer bankruptcies and proposals to creditors to assist individuals in resolving their financial difficulties. Sheila has a background in small business management, accounting, manufacturing and banking.

Sheila has been a member of Rotary International for 12 years and is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Chilliwack/Fraser and 147 Airwolf Squadron – Air Cadets in Chilliwack.

Sandra Myers, Estate Manager

Sandra Myers is an Insolvency Estate Manager and Qualified Insolvency Counsellor with over 3 years of experience.  Located in our Chilliwack office, Sandra’s primary focus is the administration of personal bankruptcies and consumer proposals to creditors to assist individuals in resolving their financial difficulties.  Sandra’s previous experience includes significant experience in social services and entrepreneurship.
